Linn County Fair’s Dunn Named Fairman of the Year

Jennifer Dunn, Vice President of the Linn County Fair, has been named the 2024 Fairman of the Year by the Association of Iowa Fairs — the highest honor in the Iowa fair industry.
A passionate lifelong fair advocate, Jennifer has spent over a decade leading with heart and innovation – not only at Linn County Fair but across Iowa and beyond. Her dedication to volunteerism, youth outreach, and fair excellence makes this recognition so well-deserved.
From earning top industry certifications to mentoring future fair leaders and being honored nationally, Jennifer’s impact is deep and wide. She’s also a successful businesswoman, a former collegiate athlete, a sports broadcaster, and even a retired collegiate soccer official.
Tom Barnes, Executive Director of Association of Iowa Fairs says Jennifer represents everything this award stands for—passion, leadership, and a relentless commitment to the fair industry. “Her service to the Linn County Fair and her statewide and national involvement have made a lasting impact.”
