Fire Damages Rural Farley Farm Building

A fire damaged a farm building south of Farley on Wednesday night.

The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office says their deputies, along with fire departments from Farley, Epworth and Worthington, were called to 7831 Comer Road around 6 pm for a report of a structure fire.

Fire crews were able to extinguish the farm building, which contained about 220 bales. They were able to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures.

Damage was estimated at $40,000. The Sheriff’s Office says it does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
