Manchester River Days is this weekend.
It’s the community’s annual celebration and one of their biggest events of the year.
River Days kicked off last night with the City’s ‘Music on the Maquoketa’ summer music series at Riverfront Park. And it will continue tonight with the Country Cruisers’ Show ‘n Shine on South Franklin Street starting at 5 pm. Dennis Wiedenman invites everyone to come check out the cars – classic, new and unique.
Manchester Chamber Director Laura Holtz says the Friday Night Farmers Market will also be going on downtown tonight.
There will also be live music on Friday night on South Franklin, with Mark Zalaznik and Sushi Roll performing.
Saturday’s Manchester River Days events are also free, with a Vendor Fair and Kids Zone at Riverfront Park along the Whitewater Park from 10 to 2.
River Days will wrap up Saturday night with a block party to celebrate F&M Bank’s 100th anniversary – find out more info about that HERE!
