Senator Grassley Discusses Los Angeles Protests, Trump/Musk Feud & Senate Work

U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley supports President Trump’s decision to deploy the National Guard to Los Angeles.

The Guard was called in following protests and violence, which started in response to the large-scale immigration enforcement operations in the area on Friday.

KMCH News Director Janelle Tucker had the opportunity to interview Senator Grassley on Monday as part of his weekly Capitol Hill Report with Iowa reporters and asked his thoughts on the situation.

Grassley was also asked his thoughts on the feud that broke out last week between President Trump and Elon Musk.

Grassley also discussed his recent work in the Senate.

Grassley, who is 91 years old, has served in the U.S. Senate since 1981.
