Fairbank’s Ethanol Plant Celebrates Milestone

Fairbank’s ethanol plant celebrated a major milestone on Saturday.
POET Bioprocessing marked the production of two billion gallons of bioethanol since the facility began operations.
To celebrate the occasion, the facility hosted a “POET Day” open house for the community. The celebration was open to farmers, families, and area community members – featuring plant tours, food, and the opportunity to meet the POET team.
General Manager Bryon Wilson says this milestone represents the years of hard work and dedication from their team. He adds they’re grateful for the strong partnerships with area farmers and the support of our local community that helps them be successful.
POET – Fairbank produces over 130 million gallons of bioethanol and purchases 47 million bushels of corn from over 1,500 local farmers annually.
