Saturday’s Color Craze to Benefit Hopkinton Library

Runners and walkers will be getting blasted with color in Hopkinton this weekend.

The Friends of the Hopkinton Public Library are hosting their annual Color Craze on Saturday at the historic Lenox College campus.

So what exactly is a Color Craze? Laura Vaske explains.

After you get doused with color along the route, you’ll end up back at the campus, where they’ll have activities and food available.

This is the third year for the event and Jason Helle says the past two events brought a good turnout of all ages.

Vaske says you can sign up ahead of time and get a discounted rate – or you can show up that day and participate for ten dollars.

All the money raised goes to the Hopkinton Public Library, which brings incredible programming to their small community.

Janelle Tucker will be broadcasting from the Color Craze on Saturday from 11 to 1, with KMCH playing music at the event too.
