Choose Iowa Members Welcoming Guests During Farm Store Crawl

Nearly seventy Choose Iowa members from across Iowa will welcome guests this Saturday and Sunday for the first ever Choose Iowa Farm Store Crawl.

Choose Iowa is the state’s signature branding and marketing program for Iowa grown, made and raised food, beverages and ag products. This fun weekend event offers Iowans and tourists an opportunity to explore diverse agricultural offerings, support local farmers and small businesses, and enjoy authentic agritourism experiences. Many of the participating Choose Iowa members will also offer additional deals and coupons via the Choose Iowa Passport, a free digital platform that was launched in partnership with Travel Iowa.

The list of Choose Iowa members participating is available online at ChooseIowa.com/FarmStoreCrawl. Among the local participants are Country View Dairy north of Fayette, Buffalo Ridge Orchard near Central City and Lubben Winery near Anamosa.

Participating locations will each have unique hours on Saturday or Sunday or both days. You should check the digital Google-based event maps for specific hours to plan your crawl.

Another statewide event, the Choose Iowa Farm-Store Open House, is planned for September 13th and 14th. This event will coincide with IBF’s annual All-State Barn Tour, offering additional opportunities for engagement and exploration.
