Manchester Hosting New Fourth of July Event

Manchester is introducing a new event to help celebrate the Fourth of July.

Mayor Connie Behnken says they’re planning a daytime community celebration at Tirrill Park on Friday, July 4th from 11 to 3.

Activities will include a kiddie parade, live music, kids’ games, food trucks, free swimming and open mic entertainment.

Mayor Behnken says it’s important to bring the Manchester community together with events like this.

Council member Mary Ann Poynor will join us as our “Guest of the Day” on Friday morning to talk more about this new event, which they’re calling “Manchester Red, White and YOU.”
