It’s rodeo week in Edgewood. Edgewood Pro-Rodeo Days features three nights of rodeo action – this Thursday, Friday and Saturday – all on the grounds of the Edgewood Livestock Commission.
That’s Edgewood Livestock Commission owner Jerry Maker, who says it’s a great week for the small-knit community of Edgewood.
Chamber Director Elise Bergan says it all kicks off today, with a new location for the Kids’ Carnival.
Thursday night is also Pink Night.
Other events during rodeo week include the parade on Saturday at 2 pm and the Demo Derby on Sunday at 1 pm. Local groups will be raising money with concessions on the rodeo grounds as always, including the famous rodeo chicken from the Greeley Tug of War Team. And Miss Edgewood Zoe Walz says they’ll have Rodeo Days merchandise available too.
Rodeo starts at 8 pm each night, with gates opening at 6 pm. If you don’t have advance tickets, you can just pay at the gate.
