Delaware County Fair Parade Taking Usual Route Through Manchester

The Delaware County Fair parade starts at 6 pm. Fire Chief Randy Rattenborg says the parade will take its usual route through Manchester.

The fair parade will have the same rules as in the past too.

Rattenborg says they’re also asking everyone to hold off on using sirens and honking horns

Manchester firefighter Ed Tibbott says they’ll also be holding their annual “Fill the Boot” campaign tonight during the parade, with firefighters walking the parade route carrying boots and asking for monetary donations.

The line-up for tonight’s Delaware County Fair parade starts at 4 pm – and Tibbott asks that everyone waits until then to arrive, with no early entries.

The fair parade is the official kickoff to the Delaware County Fair, which runs through Sunday.
