Fire Damages Linn County Garage

Fire damaged a garage in Linn County on Sunday morning.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says area fire departments and emergency personnel were dispatched to 3807 Toddville Road west of Toddville for a structure fire.

Fire was showing on a detached two-stall garage when crews arrived. The Sheriff’s Office says firefighters worked quickly to bring the fire under control – however, the structure sustained severe damage.

At the time of the fire, no one was in the building. The fire was isolated without spreading to the nearby house.

The investigation is still ongoing. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, though the Sheriff’s Office says nothing suspicious was observed.
