Informational Presentation on Delhi Sidewalk Project

Delhi residents are invited to an information presentation this Wednesday night to learn more about a potential sidewalk project in their town.

Delhi Hometown Pride, a Keep Iowa Beautiful program, invites residents, business owners, and visitors to hear about the Delhi Sidewalk Project at 6:30 pm at the Delhi Fire Station.

This community-led effort is focused on improving pedestrian safety and connectivity throughout Delhi. Those who attend will learn more about:

• Current sidewalk conditions and walkability concerns
• How improved sidewalks can strengthen safety, accessibility, and community connection
• The purpose and importance of a community survey

A community survey will be launched at the informational presentation (one survey per household), The results of the survey will be shared publicly to help guide future discussions with the Delhi City Council.

Hometown Pride representatives say this presentation is about starting a conversation. No decisions have been made – they’re just asking for feedback from the people who live, work, and spend time in Delhi.

For more information, contact the Delhi City Office or attend Wednesday night’s meeting to get involved.
