Delaware County Historical Society Hosting Butterfly Release

The Delaware County Historical Society will be hosting a Butterfly Release in Hopkinton on Sunday.

Jillian Brown says it’s a special event they’ve hosted on the Lenox College campus for the past seven years.

Brown says something very magical happens on campus that day.

And she says the Butterfly Release is an event that connects with our local history too.

Sunday’s Butterfly Release starts at noon. If you’d still like to reserve a butterfly to release that day, you can – just call Jillian at 563.608.1940. The cost is $25, with proceeds going to the preservation of the Delaware County Historical Museum and its grounds.
