Delaware County Community Comes Together for Family Fun Fest

The community came together on Tuesday night for Delaware County Pay It Forward’s Family Fun Fest at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Manchester.

Delaware County Pay It Forward supports several causes in the community, including law enforcement, providing Christmas gifts to families in need and helping individuals going through hard times. And last night, they raised a little money while offering a night of mostly free family fun as part of the community’s National Night Out.

Retired West Delaware wrestling coach Jeff Voss volunteered to be in the Dunk Tank.

Voss says he’s happy to give back to help a great cause.

Bill Bries, Rich McMahon, Laura Holtz and Sheriff Travis Hemesath got the most votes for the Pie in the Face contest, raising over five hundred dollars just for that portion of the evening – with the total raised overall so far at over $9,000. Those who came to the fairgrounds last night also enjoyed food trucks, games and inflatables and they could bid on silent auction items. Delaware County Pay It Forward Co-Chair Missy McIntyre says they appreciate everyone coming out to show their support.
