Regional Medical Center Celebrating 75th Anniversary

Today is a special milestone for Regional Medical Center in Manchester as they mark their 75th anniversary.
Originally established as the Delaware County Memorial Hospital back in 1950, RMC remains dedicated to our mission of providing healthcare services to our communities. Over the course of 75 years, this rural critical access hospital has seen outstanding growth in facility size, number of services and number of people (including patients and staff). From its humble beginnings, RMC has continually adapted to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the region. This growth has allowed RMC to serve a wider population, ensuring access to high-quality medical care, close to home.
RMC Marketing Manager Angie Salow says they’ll be celebrating tonight at the City of Manchester’s “Music on the Maquoketa”.
Regional Medical Center has been recognizing their 75th anniversary on Facebook by sharing photos, articles and other pieces of the hospital’s history.
Manchester Mayor Connie Behnken says the City is very grateful to have a facility like Regional Medical Center in their community.
RMC’s 75th anniversary will be celebrated tonight at “Music on the Maquoketa” from 6 to 9 pm at the Manchester Whitewater Park, with live music from The Avey Grouws Band.
Tonight’s RMC 75th Anniversary/”Music on the Maquoketa” is free for everyone to attend.
