A semi rolled over along Old Highway 20 southeast of Masonville earlier this week.
The Iowa State Patrol released information on Friday about the accident, which happened Monday morning. According to their crash report, a semi hauling a flat bed trailer was westbound on 220th Street and was attempting to turn right onto Candle Road when the trailer went into the east ditch and overturned, causing the tractor to turn over too.
The semi driver, from New York, was not hurt, but was cited with failing to maintain control.
The State Patrol says the accident damaged farm fence post property belonging to Randy Marquardt of Masonville, with the damage estimated at $10,000.
