Sleep in Heavenly Peace will host a Bed Build on Wednesday, September 3rd at the Beef Barn at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Manchester.
The organization is made up of volunteers who build and deliver beds to children in Delaware County and the surrounding area who don’t currently have one. They have delivered over 440 beds since the Delaware County chapter of SHP started a few years ago.
Everyone of all ages is welcome to join them. No experience or tools are needed. They’ll start at 10 am and work until they finish building 50 beds.
If you have any questions, reach out to SHP Delaware County chapter leader Keith Kramer at F&M Bank in Manchester, call him at 563-920-6256 or email at Keith.kramer@shpbeds.org. You can find more information about Sleep in Heavenly Peace at https://shpbeds.org/chapter/ia-delaware-co/.
