Manchester Planning for Future Development on West End

Manchester is preparing for potential business development on the west end of town.

The Manchester City Council on Monday night approved the preliminary and final plat of the Karusco 4th Subdivision, approximately located at 1201 West Marion Street (as pictured in the plat map below). Owner Wes Schulte would like to subdivide this parcel for commercial expansion and construction.

Lots 1 and 2, each just under one acre located east of Subway, will be developed into commercial development lots. They’ll be served by a driveway entrance off of West Main Street that aligns with South 11th Street. Lot C, which is just under three acres of land north of those two lots, will be a proposed storm water detention area. And Lot D, a more than six-acre lot north of Runde Auto Group, is reserved for future development. 

No announcements at this time on which businesses will develop on those lots. Schulte tells KMCH he’s currently working on dirt work and storm detention to position the area for future development.
