Three New Businesses Moving Into Former Monticello Pizza Ranch Building

New plans are in store for the former Pizza Ranch building in Monticello.

Jamie and Eric Miller of rural Cascade are the new owners – and they’re no strangers to running a business. Along with farming, Eric runs Miller Malting Co., the Millers’ malting company, and Jamie co-owns La Belle Boutique and Beauty Lounge in Monticello. 

The Millers are planning to eventually open three businesses in the former Pizza Ranch building – Sugar Belle (Coffee Shop), Crispy Boy Brewing Taproom, and an event space.

Sugar Belle will offer fun coffee, matcha and gluten-free mini donuts. Jamie describes it as “sweetness with a healthy twist and a vacay vibe in every sip”.

Crispy Boy Brewing Taproom will feature the Millers’ 100% farmer-owned, gluten-free beer made from grains they grow, malt, and brew themselves right on their farm.

And the event space will be a rustic-modern event venue perfect for weddings, gatherings and music. 

Jamie tells KMCH they’re doing quite a bit of renovations to the building. “We’re deep into cleaning, remodeling, and updating the space to give it new life for each business.”

Sugar Belle will open first – an exact timeline is to be determined as they continue to make the necessary renovations. The Crispy Boy Brewing Taproom will follow aiming for late spring 2026, and the event space will come shortly after that.

“We are so excited to become part of the Monticello community and bring new energy to the space,” says Jamie. “Our goal is to create places where people can gather — whether it’s for a morning coffee, a casual pint, or a special celebration.”
