Colesburg Visited by Ambassadors of Delaware County

The Ambassadors of Delaware County made a visit to Colesburg on Thursday.

Every month, the Ambassadors – a group of business professionals representing communities across Delaware County – visit two or three businesses or places across the area, with the intention to learn more about that location and help spread the word.

Their September visit first brought them to the Colesburg Public Library, where they met Library Director Tara Augustyn, who has been serving in that role since last December.

Augustyn says the Colesburg Public Library also offers a lot of hands-on opportunities for both kids and adults.

She says she has loved being part of the Colesburg community.

The Ambassadors of Delaware County also made a stop for lunch at Hill Country Convenience Store and Every’s Auto & Tire, visiting with owners Tom and Becky Forkenbrock.

Forkenbrock says they open at 4 am, offering a little of everything at Hill Country.

Tom and Becky have really enjoyed seeing Hill Country Convenience Store become a gathering place for the Colesburg community.

With the Colesburg store such a success, the Forkenbrocks are hoping to put up another location in Edgewood sometime in the next year.
