The Strawberry Point community is losing another business.
In a Facebook post on Sunday night, the Franklin Restaurant announced it was closing its operations immediately.
The bar closed in early July – and the owners say that impacted event venues for parties, large group gatherings, weddings, and finally now, the restaurant.
The historic Franklin Hotel will remain open until October 30th.
In their announcement, the owners say this wasn’t in their plans as the decision is really affecting them personally – however, they believe it’s the best thing for them at this time.
The Franklin Restaurant thanks everyone for their support.
