Non-profits can apply right now for the McGee Barr grants.
The grants, given by the Greater Delaware County Community Foundation, go to non-profits that help the poor of Delaware County.
The foundation also awards Harlo Coon grants to programs that make life better for Delaware County seniors. These grants are not given to individuals, but to established programs with a history of helping people.
Applications can be found on the Greater Delaware County Community Foundation webpage. The deadline to apply is October 31st.
The grants will be awarded early next year.
