Delaware County Fair Board Holding Elections Tonight

The Delaware County Fair Board is holding its annual elections tonight.

Several director positions are up for election:

• District 3 – North Fork, South Fork, Delhi and Union Township. No candidates have filed, so the fair board will appoint someone to fill that position.
• District 5 – City of Manchester. No candidates have filed, so the fair board will also appoint someone to fill that position.
• At Large – two directors will be elected from five candidates. This year’s candidates are incumbents Josh Hellmann, Alan Kelchen, Rick Palmer and Levon Smith and newcomer Aaron Crane.

Each director seat will be filled for a three-year term.

The Delaware County Fair Board’s annual meeting will take place tonight at 8 pm at the Delaware County Community Center in Manchester. All Delaware County residents 18 and older are welcome to vote.
