Update: Delhi Driver Involved in Hit-and-Run Arrested, Released on Bond

A Delhi driver involved in a hit-and-run accident has been arrested.
The accident happened in Delaware County on 220th Avenue in the early morning hours of Friday, September 26th. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office released the accident report on Tuesday.
In the report, the Sheriff’s Office says 33-year old Blake Muller of Delhi was westbound on his motorcycle, attempting to make a right-hand turn onto 220th Avenue from 255th Street. An eastbound pickup truck failed to yield the right of way while attempting to turn left, causing Muller’s motorcycle to hit the side of the pickup.
Muller was thrown from the bike. He suffered a minor injury and road rash.
The pickup driver fled the scene of the accident. He was later identified as 62-year old Richard Hughes of Delhi, with a warrant issued for his arrest for Leaving the Scene of an Injury Accident. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that Hughes was taken into custody on Tuesday night and has since bonded out.
