Delaware County Elects New Fair Board Members

The Delaware County Fair Board held their annual elections on Wednesday night.
All Delaware County residents 18 and older were invited to come to the board’s annual meeting at 8 pm at the fairgrounds and vote for board members.
Five candidates were running for the Delaware County Fair Board’s two At-Large seats – incumbents Rick Palmer, Al Kelchen, Josh Hellmann and Levon Smith and newcomer Aaron Crane.
Al Kelchen and Levon Smith were elected to the two At-Large seats.
There were two other open seats on the fair board, in which no one filed to run – including District 3, which covers North Fork, South Fork, Delhi and Union Township, and District 5, which includes the City of Manchester.
The board appointed Aaron Crane to the District 3 seat and Josh Hellmann to the District 5 seat.
Kathy Rahe was re-elected as President of the Delaware County Fair Board, with Al Kelchen elected as Vice President and Laura Lewin as Treasurer.
