Freeze Warning Now Issued for Eastern Iowa

Forecasters have cancelled the Frost Advisory and now issued a Freeze Warning for tonight across eastern Iowa.

The Freeze Warning is in effect from midnight tonight through 9 am Thursday. National Weather Service Meteorologist Brooke Hagenhoff says we can expect sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30.

She says the forecast calls for a slight warm-up in a few days.

This morning’s low temps in the 30’s follow a very warm start to the month, with unseasonable highs hitting the 80’s and even 90 degrees.
