KMCH SPORTS: State Volleyball results from Tuesday 11/4 – Day 2

The fifth-ranked Beckman Catholic volleyball team had a terrific effort in an upset bid of No. 4 Grundy Center but fell short after a 2-0 start as GC came back to win 3-2 in a Class 2A Quarterfinal that lasted one hour and forty two minutes. The Blazers won the first two sets, 25-20 and 25-10 before the Spartans took sets three through five 25-23,25-23 and 15-13. Beckman Catholic closes at 32-8 and says goodbye to 3 seniors.
