We could pick up another couple inches of snow today.
That comes after our first winter storm of the season over the weekend.
Manchester received just over five inches of snow late Friday night, along with nearly seven and a half inches on Saturday – for a total storm snowfall of 12.6 inches. You can find several “snow day” photos shared by our followers on our KMCH Facebook page.
Today, a Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect for southeast Iowa, with snowfall totals between 1 to 4 inches forecast. Farther north in Delaware County and the surrounding area, the National Weather Service says we could see up to two inches of snow this afternoon into this evening.
Forecasters say this snow will be dry and fluffy in nature and winds should also be light, making for easier snow removal than this past weekend.
