A Fayette County project is receiving funding from the USDA.
The USDA Rural Development awarded a total of $4.72 million for five projects across the state – three projects aim to safeguard drinking water and two projects that will improve hospital facilities and obstetrical services.
Palmer Lutheran Health Center Inc. received a $1.1 million grant to help renovate the Gunderson Health System obstetrics services facilities at its clinic in West Union. This project will improve delivery and postpartum resources for the residents of this rural Fayette County community and surrounding areas.
