Ambassadors of Delaware County Visit Delhi Community

The Ambassadors of Delaware County visited the Delhi community on Thursday.

Their first stop was a ribbon cutting at a new consignment shop called Delhi Deals to welcome owners Kyle and Kristi Conry.

Delhi Deals opened in the former office location of Dave’s Complete Construction in early November. The shop offers everything from clothing to decor, with all Christmas decor and apparel currently 25% off.

The Conry’s say the Delhi community has been treating them well.

The Ambassadors then headed across the street to visit the Delhi Thrift Store and Food Pantry.

That’s Sheryl Schnittjer, one of the volunteers who helps keep the store going – and they could always use more. Fellow volunteer Carol O’Connell says the store has grown a lot since first opening in Delhi a few years ago.

Melissa Nieman says the Delhi Thrift Store uses the proceeds from their sales to give back to various organizations in the community, with nearly 40-thousand dollars already donated this year.

The Delhi Thrift Store and Food Pantry is open Thursdays from 2 to 5 pm, Fridays from noon to 4 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to noon.

The Ambassadors ended their visit to Delhi with lunch at one of the Manchester Chamber’s newest members, Delhi Landing.
