Movie Night Fundraiser for Community Childcare of Manchester

Community Childcare of Manchester is hosting a movie fundraiser tonight at Castle Theatre.

Director Vicki Ries says the program is a local non-profit run by a board of directors that helps provide childcare at two locations in the Manchester community.

Access to childcare is an important part of serving families in the community and attracting new families too. It’s an ongoing issue not only in Manchester, but across the state. Manchester Mayor Connie Behnken serves on a task force dedicated to studying the issue.

Earlier this month, a concert was held at Hanson Auditorium featuring singer/songwriter and Manchester native Susan Werner, with the proceeds going to Community Childcare of Manchester. And tonight, another fundraiser will be held at Castle Theatre in Manchester.

Everyone is welcome. Tonight’s movie starts at 7 pm, with first-come first-served seating. The cost is a free will donation to benefit the community daycares. You can get your tickets online through the Castle Theatre Facebook page.
