A farewell party is being held today for Manchester City Manager Tim Vick.
Vick has led the City of Manchester for the past twenty years, first coming to the community in 2005. He announced last month that he will be leaving to take on a new opportunity as the city manager for Adel in central Iowa. Vick’s last day in the office is this Friday.
Mayor Connie Behnken and the City of Manchester will be hosting Vick’s farewell party today from 4 to 6 pm at the Manchester Fire Station. The event is open to the public.
