KMCH SPORTS: West Delaware Bowling head coaches selected for national honors

FROM WEST DELAWARE DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS – MATT WEIS:

West Delaware boy’s and girl’s Bowling Coaches Bob and Sue Morris have been recognized in their respective sports for their hard work, dedication, and effort they put into the Hawks bowling program.

Sue has been picked by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association as the Iowa nominee for the National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSACA) national coach of the year. Eight finalists for this award will be selected and announced later this month.

Bob has been chosen by the National Federation of State High School Association’s (NFHS) Coaches Association, as a nominee for coach of the year in the state of Iowa. The NFHS seeks nominees from each state, in each sport, to honor as State Coach of the Year in that state.
