New Buchanan County Business Awarded Grant

A new business in Buchanan County has been awarded a grant.

The Buchanan County Economic Development Commission has awarded a Revolving Loan Fund loan and a Key Business Grant to support the startup and success of The Green Roast Cafe, a new locally owned coffee and lunch business in Jesup.

The combined funding helps with startup expenses and supports the purchase of new equipment needed to operate and grow the business. This investment strengthens operations and supports long-term sustainability for Jesup’s only coffee shop offering both coffee and lunch service.

The Green Roast Cafe is owned and operated by Olivia Frush and Cindy Pint, who are bringing a new locally owned business and welcoming gathering space to the community.

Buchanan County Economic Development Commission’s Revolving Loan Fund provides flexible financing to help entrepreneurs start and expand businesses, while the Key Business Grant program supports targeted investments that spur growth and meet community needs across Buchanan County.
