RFH Urgent Care Changes Name to Same Day Clinic

Regional Family Health recently changed the name for its walk-in service from Urgent Care to Same Day Clinic.

Michelle Paris, Regional Family Health Clinic Director, says the name change, which went into effect two weeks ago, is a strategic move to better communicate the clinic’s core mission of providing same-day care for immediate medical needs that do not require an Emergency Room visit.  

Emergency Services Director Dawn Biggs says the Same Day Clinic provides the same services as Urgent Care did, which covers non-life-threatening conditions.

There are a few things to keep in mind when deciding whether to use the Same Day Clinic or reach out to emergency services instead.

The Same Day Clinic remains in the same location as Urgent Care within the Manchester Regional Family Health clinic location at 709 West Main Street in Manchester.

They’ll keep the same hours too:

• Monday-Friday 12-7PM
• Saturday & Sunday 8AM-1PM
• Closed on Holidays

All clinical staff, providers and accepted insurance plans will remain the same as well.
