Trudy Loecke Crowned 2026 Iowa Pork Queen

Iowa’s new pork queen reigns from Manchester.
Trudy Loecke was crowned the 2026 Iowa Pork Queen at the Iowa Pork Congress in Des Moines on Wednesday night. Trudy, the daughter of Mike and Megan Loecke, served as the 2024-25 Delaware County Pork Queen.
Gracelyn Brown of Dexter and Maddie Johnson of Waverly were named Iowa Pork Ambassadors. They each receive a $4,000 scholarship.
Selected through written exams, interviews, presentations, and evaluations of industry involvement, the new Iowa Pork Youth Leadership Team will represent Iowa pork at events statewide throughout 2026, including county fairs, the Iowa State Fair, and World Pork Expo.
Kelsey Sutter, Director of Marketing for the Iowa Pork Producers Association, says they had a great group of students competing in this year’s competition and she looks forward to working with Trudy, Gracelyn, and Maddie in the coming year.
