Manchester Police Hosting Cyber Safety Night at Library

The Manchester Police Department is partnering with the Manchester Public Library to provide an important session for parents and guardians focused on online safety.
The community discussion follows Operation Castle, a local investigation led by the Manchester PD that resulted in the arrests of several alleged online predators over the past couple months.
It was eye-opening for the community – and for Chief Ben Davis himself.
Tonight’s Cyber Safety Night is geared towards the parents, but parents can choose to bring their children if they’d like.
At tonight’s Cyber Safety Night in Manchester, you’ll learn about current trends affecting students—like inappropriate image sharing, sextortion, and AI-altered or fake images—and discover practical ways to support safer digital habits at home.
Tonight’s Cyber Safety Night begins at 5 pm at the Manchester Public Library and runs until 6:30 pm.
