The Manchester Chamber held its annual banquet last night. Rescheduled from Wednesday night due to weather, attendance was strong and spirits were high. The highlight of the evening was the awarding of the 2025 Business of the Year Award. This year, that honor goes to Boubin Tire and Automotive. Kirk Burkle talked about the field of nominees.
Winning, Kirk says, is really a reflection of his father’s work.
That legacy continues thanks to the great support they receive from the employees and their families.
Other nominees for the Business of the Year Award included Dolce Vita, Honey Creek Furniture and Riverview Wellness.
The Manchester Rotary received the Meritorious Service Award for their work this past year. President Nick La Rosa says the honor was a pleasant surprise.
As La Rosa said, the Manchester chapter just marked 100 years in the community, and Rotarians still continue their pledge of service to the area.
The group is always seeking new faces.
Other honorees were Morgan Weber receiving the Ambassador of the Year award and incoming chamber president Nicole Riley receiving the Ernest Hayhow Chamber Person of the Year.
