Delaware County Cattlemen Present Honors at Beef Banquet

The Delaware County Cattlemen hosted their annual Beef Banquet on Saturday night – a night to celebrate the local beef industry.
Over nine hundred people enjoyed a steak dinner grilled by the Cattlemen, with most choosing to dine in at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Manchester.
Several awards were presented, with Jim Kelchen and family named Cattlemen of the Year.
Kelchen told KMCH he appreciates the honor.
The Edgewood Locker received the Beef Promoter of the Year Award. Luke Kerns says the business has been in the family for the past sixty years.

The Cattlemen’s Making A Difference Award was presented to Anna Brady. The Delaware County Cattlemen also crowned new royalty. Myka Brooks ended her year-long reign as the Beef Queen, with Beef Princess Madalynn Arnold taking her place as the 2026 Delaware County Beef Queen.

Olivia Ronnebaum was crowned the Delaware County Beef Princess.
The Cattlemen’s scholarship winners were also recognized, including Myka Brooks, Sam Ogden, Nathan Beitz, and Ryan Hilby.
