The high school wrestling season finished Saturday night with championship matches inside the Casey’s Center in Des Moines. Starmont senior Keaton Moeller won a title at 190, his second first place finish and first since his sophomore campaign. In the four day State Tourney our KMCH Sports coverage 49 area wrestlers went 113-103.
Class 1A Team State Boys Bowling will take place this afternoon starting at 3pm at the Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo. West Delaware and Monticello will be competing against 6 other schools.
Tonight the Boys Basketball postseason resumes with Class 3A first round contests. Our featured game will come from Decorah as West Delaware takes on the Vikings starting with pregame coverage at 6:45pm on MIX 94.7, kmch.com and the KMCH App with Sports Director Jon Swisher and Bill Logan. Western Dubuque will be at Marion and Independence heads to top-seeded Dubuque Wahlert Catholic.
