Allan W. Kintzle- McHenry, Illinois

Allan W. Kintzle, 85, of McHenry, Illinois, formerly of Arlington Heights for 61 years, IL, passed away peacefully in his home on February 17 th , 2026, surrounded by family.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ronda, a son; Jeff (Kim) Kintzle; Grandchildren; Mike (Brooke), Stefanie (Mike) Weeden; and Jack Kintzle (Kaleigh Chabra); Great grandchildren Kyler & Kendra Kintzle, and Everly Weeden, and six siblings: Dale, Dave, Jan, Ruth Ann, Kathy, and Mark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Agnes Kintzle, siblings Mike, Jean, Jerry, and Rick.

Al was a math teacher and coach (golf and basketball) for Dist 214 his entire career. He will be remembered for his fairness, generosity, wisdom, patience, and dry sense of humor. His greatest joys in life were spending time with family and playing golf. He loved playing bridge with family and friends and a lively euchre game with the Kintzle family.

Al and Ronda wintered in Estaro Florida for the past 14 years and cherished their time at Estaro Country Club, the beach, dinners and games with their friend group.

He was an also an avid golfer.

Visitation will be on March 7th from 9:30-10:45am followed by an 11am mass at St. Joseph’s Church in Earlville IA. Immediately following will be a Celebration of Life luncheon at the Earlville Community Center.
