First Severe Weather of Season Possible Friday

Our first severe weather of the season is possible on Friday.
The National Weather Service says there is a slight risk (level 2 out of 5) for eastern Iowa. Two rounds of storms are possible on Friday – one in the morning and the second in the evening/nighttime hours.
Both have the potential to produce strong to severe storms, but some uncertainty remains on the timing/evolution of the evening storms.
Temperatures are warming up as the week goes on too, with highs predicted to reach near 70 on Friday.
Stay with KMCH – we’ll update you on the weather forecast and break in with live coverage if severe weather breaks.
