Open House Friday to Meet Manchester City Manager Finalists

The City of Manchester has named the three finalists for their City Manager position – and the public will have a chance to meet them during an open house this Friday.

Manchester Mayor Connie Behnken says the search for a new city manager started late last year after longtime city manager Tim Vick announced his resignation. 

The final interview process for the Manchester city manager candidates begins this Friday.

Then on Saturday, the candidates will participate in group interviews, with a handful of Manchester community members chosen to sit on the panels.

Mayor Behnken says they’re looking forward to finishing the search process so they can begin working with Manchester’s new city manager. 

Manchester has a history of long-tenured city managers. The city’s last two leaders, Tim Vick and Dave Heiar, each served for about twenty years.
