BCEDC Awards Grant to Lamont Business

The Buchanan County Economic Development Commission (BCEDC) has awarded a Key Business Grant to SIPS Downtown Lamont to support business growth and continued investment in downtown Lamont.
BCEDC’s Key Business Grant program encourages new business development and reinvestment throughout Buchanan County by providing targeted financial assistance to local businesses. The grant will support improvements that strengthen operations, enhance the customer experience, and contribute to the vitality of Lamont’s downtown. With this grant SIPS Downtown Lamont was able to purchase needed equipment to enhance their products and serve customers better.
“Key Business Grants are an important tool for supporting small businesses and encouraging reinvestment in our communities,” said Lisa Kremer, Executive Director of BCEDC. “Investments like this help businesses grow, strengthen communities, and support long-term economic activity across Buchanan County.”
SIPS Downtown Lamont reflects the role small businesses play in creating vibrant communities and supporting local economies. BCEDC looks forward to continuing to support business growth and downtown investment throughout the county.
