City of Manchester Warns of Scam

The City of Manchester is warning of a scam.

The City says they were notified of a Manchester resident receiving a suspicious phone call. The resident lives in the Anderson Street area and the call was related to the upcoming Anderson Street project.

The City says if residents receive a call like this:

• Hang up immediately.
• Do not share personal or financial information.
• Contact Manchester City Hall to report it.

The City of Manchester will never ask you to borrow money through a third party. Official communication about city projects or assessments will come directly from City Hall or through mailed notices.
