Delaware County Dairy Banquet Taking Place Saturday Night

The Delaware County dairy industry will come together to celebrate this Saturday night.
It’s the 68th Annual Delaware County Dairy Banquet, taking place at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Manchester.
Nicole Engelken with the Delaware County Dairy Promoters says they’ll be serving a steak sandwich supper grilled by the Delaware County Cattlemen, with sides and dessert. And you can get that to-go through the drive-thru from 5 to 6:30 pm or dine-in when the doors open starting at 6:30 pm.
Saturday night’s Dairy Banquet program starts at 8 pm, with the crowning of new dairy royalty and the presentation of several awards. And there will be a live and silent auction, with proceeds going towards Dairy Barn wash rack renovations at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.
Tickets for Saturday night’s Dairy Banquet are only available in advance – you can get them at Community Savings Bank in Earlville and Manchester or Fidelity Bank & Trust in Dyersville. They’re also available through any Delaware County Dairy Promoters board member. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for kids 5-12 and ages four and under are free.
