Manchester Hires New City Manager

Manchester has hired a new city manager.

Brock Waters of Osage has been chosen to lead the City through its next era. Mayor Pro-Tem and City Council member Mary Ann Poynor says they’re excited about their choice.

Poynor says Waters had a lot of good things to say about Manchester.

Poynor says just like it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a city to help choose a new city manager.

The Manchester City Council offered the position to Waters on Saturday, with the Manchester City Council approving his employment agreement at Monday night’s council meeting. Waters will begin his new role as Manchester’s city manager on May 4th.
