Manchester’s Baum Park Renovations to Begin This Summer

Manchester’s Baum Park will see some improvements this summer.

On Monday night, the City Council approved a bid for the project. City Parks & Rec Director Doug Foley says they’ll work with Loecke Building Services, who submitted a bid for just under $144,000.

As Foley mentioned, the Baum Park project includes renovating the shelter and restrooms.

He says they’re looking at working on the project mid- to late-summer in hopes to avoid the majority of street work in that area on Anderson Street.

Foley says the entire area of Baum Park is really coming together nicely.

The Baum Park renovations are expected to wrap up in September or October.
