Friday is the deadline to file as a candidate on the local level in the June Primary Election.

The Primary Election will be held June 2nd, with seats up for election in Delaware County this year including County Supervisor District 3, County Treasurer, County Recorder, and County Attorney. Democratic and Republican candidates for those offices must file nomination papers in the Delaware County Auditor’s Office by Friday, March 20th. The nomination petitions for all candidates must contain the signatures of at least 75 eligible electors who live within Delaware County.

Non-partisan candidates for these county offices will need to file candidate paperwork in the Auditor’s Office between March 2nd and June 2nd for the November 3rd General Election. Non-partisan candidates for county offices must also gather the signatures of at least 75 eligible electors who live within Delaware County.
