The local candidates for the June Primary have been announced.
There will be a contested race in the Republican primary for Delaware County Supervisor District 3 this year. Incumbent Shirley Helmrichs of Manchester is being challenged by Toby Bender of Hopkinton.
Jenny Eschen of Manchester is running unopposed in the Republican primary for another term as Delaware County Treasurer.
John Bernau of Manchester is running unopposed in the Republican primary for another term as Delaware County Attorney.
And Peggy Hildebrand of Manchester is running in the Republican primary for her first term as Delaware County Recorder. The seat will be left vacant at the end of the year as Delaware County Recorder Daneen Schindler has announced she will not be seeking re-election.
No candidates have filed to run in the Democratic primary for any of the Delaware County seats up for election this year.
